- Location. Start your search with a zip code or a neighborhood if you know one, then use the map tools to help you narrow the geographic scope of your search. Take a few seconds to run your mouse over the map tools to see what they do.
- Type of Home.You must select at least one criterium to start a search. The more criteria you specify and assign importance to with the sliding scale, the better your results will be. If you select four or more criteria, the system will ask you to make some trade-offs to establish the relative importance of the criteria. Most search engines will present the results from the most expensive to the least expensive. BestHomePro presents them in the order that best matches your profile.
- Saving Searches. When you save a search you may check a box that will activate a feature of the system that will notify you by email whenever new listings come on the market that move into the top ten listings that match your profile.
- Favorites. Use the “Favorites” feature to save information on homes that you might want to follow up on. There is much information available that is not in MLS that we can provide or direct you to.
- Sellers. If you are using the search data to help establish a price for a home that you intend to sell, BestHomePro is an excellent way to begin that process.
